Hours: Monday to Friday, expected 30 per week
Pay Rate: £25.71 – £28.75 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Position Overview

Bolton Talent Solutions is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sport Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching across BTEC Sport Levels 1 to 3. Working with predominantly 16–18-year-old learners, you will support their development in key areas of sport, physical education, fitness, and applied theory in preparation for progression into higher education or employment within the sport and fitness sector.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging sessions that combine practical application with strong theoretical foundations, ensuring learners gain the skills, confidence, and knowledge required to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across BTEC Sport Levels 1–3
• Teach a range of units covering sport science, fitness, coaching, anatomy, and practical performance
• Support learners in developing their understanding, applied skills, and assessment readiness
• Provide constructive feedback and track learner progress
• Create a positive, inclusive and motivating learning environment

Key Requirements

• Degree in Sport or a related discipline
• Minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification
• Strong subject knowledge across sport science, fitness, coaching and related topics
• Experience working with 16–18-year-olds (FE teaching experience desirable)
• Excellent communication, organisation, and learner engagement skills
